Scams don't announce themselves. They arrive in SMS messages, email threads, and QR codes on a poster. Signature and blacklist-based tools can only stop threats they've already seen — by the time a phishing URL appears on a block list, it's frequently already been clicked by the people it was sent to.

Blacklist Approach

A new phishing domain is registered. It sends its first batch of messages. Eventually, a victim or a security researcher reports it. The blacklist updates — hours or days later. Everyone who interacted with the link before the update had no protection at all.

DefenceNet Approach

The same domain sends its first message. DefenceNet evaluates the structural and behavioral signals in real time — it was never on a list, and it doesn't need to be. The threat is scored and blocked at message one, based on how it's built, not on reputation history that doesn't exist yet.
