Welcome to DefenceNet.ai (“DefenceNet”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DefenceNet.ai iOS application, Safari Extension, website, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading, accessing, or using DefenceNet.ai, you acknowledge that:

  1. You have read and understood these Terms.
  2. You agree to be bound by them.
  3. You are at least 16 years old (or using under parental supervision).

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Apple EULA

This app is licensed, not sold, to you.

Your use of DefenceNet.ai is subject to both:

If there is any conflict between our Terms and Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA prevails.

2. No Warranty / No Guarantee of Protection

DefenceNet.ai enhances your phishing safety, but:

  • We do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy
  • We do not promise full prevention of harmful links
  • We do not take liability for any damages caused by phishing attacks, cyber threats, or malicious URLs

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind.

3. On-Device Processing

To protect your privacy:

  • All URL analysis is performed locally on your device
  • We do not collect, store, save, transmit, or access your data
  • We do not log URLs, clicks, messages, or browsing information
  • No cloud or server-side computation is used

You are solely responsible for maintaining your device’s security, including updates, OS integrity, and safe usage.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decrypt, or extract the AI model
  • Modify or attempt to access underlying source code
  • Use the app to obstruct or manipulate lawful investigations
  • Use the app in ways that violate cybersecurity laws
  • Sell, distribute, or sublicense the app without permission
  • Attempt to bypass subscription systems
  • Misrepresent the app’s capabilities as a substitute for enterprise-grade security

5. Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms

DefenceNet.ai offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions (“Premium”).

5.1 Billing

  • Subscriptions are managed exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID
  • Payments, refunds, and disputes are handled by Apple
  • We never access your payment details

5.2 Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews unless you disable auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation

You may manage or cancel your subscription via:

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

5.4 Free Trials

If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiry.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in the DefenceNet.ai app—including:

  • AI models
  • Patented algorithms
  • Interface design
  • Images, branding, and trademarks

are owned solely by DataCove AI Inc. (Canada).

You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

Reverse engineering or copying is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DefenceNet.ai and DataCove AI Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Device damage
  • Phishing or fraud incidents
  • Financial loss
  • Identity theft
  • Cyber-attacks not detected by the AI
  • Downtime or service interruptions
  • Inaccurate detection results

Your use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

8. No Professional Advice

DefenceNet.ai does not replace:

  • Cybersecurity software
  • Anti-virus systems
  • Financial fraud monitoring
  • Enterprise-grade protection

This is a consumer-level tool and should be used as one of many layers of digital protection.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse the app
  • Apple requires removal
  • We detect tampering or unauthorized manipulation

You may uninstall the app at any time to terminate your license.

10. Updates & Modifications

We may release updates to improve performance, comply with Apple requirements, or enhance features.

By continuing to use the app, you agree to future updates and changes to these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal laws.

Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
